01
What it measures
Your Ritmo score tracks one thing: how often you show up to give, compared to how often you could have.
It runs from 0 to 100. The closer to 100, the more consistently giving has become part of your day.
Nothing else goes into it. Not how much you give. Not which causes you pick. Not how long you've been here.
02
How it's calculated
We look at your last 90 days. For every day you were active and could have made a giving choice, we check: did you?
Days you gave: they count. Days you didn't: they pull the score down a little. The more you give, the higher the score climbs.
The formula
03
A few things to know
If you chose to carry your dollar forward instead of picking a cause that day, your streak stays intact - but it doesn't add to your score. You didn't give yet, so it doesn't count as a giving day.
Missed a day? You get a few grace days each month. We apply them automatically - no action needed, no streak lost. But like carry-forward days, they don't add to your score either.
Your score becomes more meaningful after about two weeks. Early on it moves quickly as it learns your rhythm. Give it time.
04
What it's not
It's not a ranking. You're not being compared to anyone else.
It's not a measure of how good you are, or how much you care. Someone who gives $1 every day and someone who gives $20 occasionally aren't on the same scale here - they're just living differently.
It's just a signal. One number that answers a simple question: is giving part of your routine? That's all it's trying to tell you.
05
Just getting started?
Your score will move around more in the first couple of weeks. That's normal - it's still figuring out your pattern. After about 14 days of activity, it settles into something that actually reflects how you give.
