Questions, answered
How do I participate?
Just give. Download Ritmo, donate on any day in August, and you're in automatically. You'll appear on the leaderboard under a private nickname (search for your email to see your position). Start with $7 of giving on us, then top up your own donations to keep going and climb.
Can I still join?
Yes. The score blends your consistency, days donated, and streak, so joining later doesn't lock you out - you just need at least seven donating days before the close.
Does donating more money help?
No. Amounts are not part of the score at all. Consistency, total days, and streak are the only things that move it.
What if I miss a day?
One missed day dents your score slightly. Nothing resets, and streak is just one part of the mix - keep going and it recovers.
What do winners actually get?
$1,000 to send to the causes they love, through their Ritmo account. It's giving money, not cash to keep.
Ties break by a published cascade: highest score, then most donating days, then the earliest qualifying day, then the earliest account creation.
We only ever show an anonymised nickname and a Donation Score - never full names, amounts, or causes.
